Sponsorship Opportunities
The Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers Inc. (AAMT) is the leading national organisation in Australia for mathematics teaching in schools. We are a not-for profit association and work with mathematical associations in each state and territory in a federated structure. The focus of our work is to support maths educators with professional learning, the provision of resources and collaboration in research projects to improve maths teaching and learning outcomes in schools in Australia. We also provide advice and reports to government.
While AAMT plays a pivotal role in Australian maths education, we do not receive any public funding for our regular work. We depend on membership contributions and income earned from publications and professional learning events.
We also depend on financial contributions from partners, sponsors, advertisers, exhibitors and other organisations that would like to promote their brand and products while contributing to maths education in Australia through support for AAMT.
AAMT offers a number of sponsorship opportunities:
- Annual partnerships with sponsor branding offered on the AAMT website, programs, events, journals and other communications
- Event sponsorship with naming and speaking rights
- Conference and event exhibitions
- Advertisements in journals, newsletters and other communications
- The provision of discounts or promotions on products for AAMT members
- Support for the Focus on Maths program through named grants that are made available to disadvantaged schools.
AAMT can flexibly offer a range of promotional opportunities for potential sponsors.

Australian Maths Trust
The Australian Maths Trust (AMT) is a registered charity that’s been supporting maths problem solving in Australia for more than 40 years.
AMT’s vision is to develop a nation of creative problem solvers, and it believes maths is the most effective way to get students there.
AMT offers annual events, like the internationally recognised Australian Mathematics Competition, and enrichment programs that run over a series of weeks or months.
Other activities help build students’ computational and algorithmic thinking and support STEM skill development, while the maths and informatics Olympiad pathways offer students an opportunity to achieve excellence at the highest levels.
