## Mathematics by Inquiry

Mathematics by Inquiry is a partnership between AAMT and the Australian Academy of Science (AAS) from November 2015 to June 2018. .

## Workplace maths skills

AAMT in partnership with the Australian Industry Group, and support from the Office of the Chief Scientist, has undertaken a project to investigate the mathematics needed by today’s workers. This collaboration reflects the need for educators to work with industry to solve the skills issues that confront Australian society.

## Make It Count Blueprint

Supporting best teaching of mathematics for Indigenous learners 2013-2016

The Blueprint identifies key directions for improving teaching and outcomes in mathematics for Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. In the Blueprint, AAMT commits itself to a range of actions from 2013 onwards, and recommends that education authorities, universities and industry work with the Association to make significant gains in this critical area
